Welcome to the UK is a publication and ongoing art project that brings together the voices of people living in the UK on visas. Through poems, writings, reviews, and visual works, it documents their emotional landscapes — the overwhelm, uncertainty, transitions, and reflections that come with navigating borders.
At its heart is a stack of papers — stories, sketches, BRPs, and boarding passes — that echo the everyday reality of visa holders. Together, they question systems of governance, belonging, and the often-invisible lines that shape our movement and identity.
